A/B Testing allows you to determine which message/link/color combination delivers the most clicks by evenly testing variations of your Hello Bar toolbar. Here’s how you set up A/B Testing:
Create a Variation: Click on the A/B button manager. Alternatively, you
can choose “Create Variation” inside the Hello Bar toolbar editor.
Make It Unique: Within the new variation, choose an alternative message, link or color combo.
Find a Winner: View your Hello Bar toolbar stats and see how they are performing.
Keep Improving: Once you find a winner, create a new variation and repeat.
Can I make my Hello Bar do other stuff? Like opening a modal?

Can I make it so my Hello Bar sticks to the top of the browser at all times?
To make your Hello Bar stick to the top of your browser simply go the the settings section on the editor page and adjust the positioning options.
Can I exclude certain IPs from statistics tracking?
If you would like to ignore impressions and clicks from certain computers, then login to your Hello Bar account, go to the Stats IP Exclusions page and add your current IP address.

What are the Pro plans and how do they work?
Our Pro Planscover some common click amounts. You can sign up for the 100 Clicks plan and if you need more clicks, we will auto upgrade you and or let you know that you’re approaching your limit. You may disable auto-upgrade at any time in your account settings. You are billed monthly on your anniversary date. You will never be billed if you stay on the Free plan, but you bars may be turned off when you exceed your click limit.

What if I’m getting close to my clicks for the month/how do I upgrade?
If you’re nearing the click limit for the month, you’ll be notified via email when you’re getting close. Once the limit is reached your account will either be auto-upgraded, so there’s no break in service or it will shut off for the remaining time during the month.
What happens if I run out of clicks for the month?
Once the click limit for your account level has been reached, your account will either be auto-upgraded; so there’s no break in service, or it will shut off your bars for the remaining time during the month.
How do I turn off the auto-upgrade feature?
When logged into your account, go to the upper right corner and select my account from the profile drop down. Once there, you’ll see a check box to disable automatic upgrading.
Help! My Hello Bar toolbar isn’t showing up on my website!
While deploying a Hello Bar toolbar is a very simple process, everyone’s website is different and sometimes problems occur that might prevent your Hello Bar toolbar from showing up. While we try to accommodate for as many of these circumstances we can predict, things still happen that we can’t plan for. In these edge cases, we’re here to help!
Why isn’t my Hello Bar toolbar showing up on the page I linked to?
If your Hello Bar toolbar is included on every page of your site and it links to http://www.yoursite.com/about then it will not show up on your about page. This is done so your Hello Bar toolbar does not say “Visit my about page!” when a visitor is on your about page.If you would prefer to turn this behavior off then you can change it in the settings area of your Hello Bar toolbar. The option is called: Show on Link Page and is set to Yes by default.
I updated my Hello Bar but it’s not updated on my site yet!
We cache certain types of Hello Bars to ensure that the Hello Bar servers are able to deliver you a Hello Bar even during high traffic periods. Usually it will be updated within a few minutes, but if it doesn’t then your website might have its own caching solution that could be holding the previous bar in its cache.
I’ve deployed my Hello Bar on my WordPress site, but it doesn’t show!
Why doesn’t Futura or other fonts show up even though I’ve chosen them?
Although we allow you to choose many different fonts, we currently rely on end-user support for those fonts. That means that if you or your visitors don’t have the font installed, your browser will simply revert to another (hopefully similar) font. We may add support for CSS (web-based) fonts in the future.
Can I use one Hello Bar account on multiple sites and still be able to track all my clients click-through’s?
Yes, you can create a Hello Bar (and any variations) for each client and and track them individually with the stats section and emails. Each bar will pull from your monthly click-through allowance.

How do I completely close my Hello Bar account?
If for some reason you want us to completely delete your Hello Bar account, please feel free to contact us at: email@example.com using the email address associated with your account. We will delete your user, all associated data and un-subscribe you from our mailing list.
